A life of Family, Service, and Faith

Terry Lee-Smith was born in Sunshine, Kentucky (Harlan County) and spent her formative years in Mayking, Kentucky (Letcher County). She graduated from Whitesburg High School in 1969 before attending Midway University.

Family Life

Smith's family history includes:
  • First marriage to Jimmy Lee on March 4, 1972, lasting 27 years until his passing in 1999
  • Two children: Amanda (born 1973) and Joey (born 1986)
  • Second marriage to Charlie Smith in 2004, expanding her family
Extended Family
  • Two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters from her first marriage
  • 3 stepchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, and 8 step-great-grandchildren from her second marriage
